Gina’s third novel is out!
Pickled in Love
A romantic comedy by Gina N. Brown
Can two hesitant fifty-somethings get out of their own way to fall in love?
Professional home organizer, Jenn Morrison, is at the top of her game in business and the bottom of the heap in love. If dead-end dates were an Olympic sport, Jenn would own the podium.
Ex-gym teacher Mark Russell still can’t face dating after losing his wife three years earlier. When Mark’s daughters hire Jenn to declutter their dad’s home, he fends off the makeover. After Jenn leaves, he realizes he was rude, his house is a mess, and his heart rate has skyrocketed.
When Mark visits Jenn’s office to apologize, he spies a pickleball paddle. In a how-hard-can-it-be moment, he challenges her to a game he’s never played. Soon, sparks fly on and off the court.
Both long for love, but resist. Still, the late-in-life couple is irresistibly drawn together. Just as everything feels perfect, Mark’s controlling daughter meddles, threatening their relationship. Will true love ever fly?
Described as “heart-warming” and a “lovely escape,” Pickled in Love is set in the picturesque coastal city of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
